Bosses are repetitive but not too difficult as they give a reasonable challenge. There are collectibles for the completionists but they are superficial at best and are only there to pad out the game time. The combos are your typical combos which does have a visual flourish but the mechanics behind those attacks are really combos you can find in many other Spectacle Fighter games. They are pretty bland and not fun to look at but they wont impact the game-play itself either. Graphically the game is your standard shovel ware for the Wii.

The execution moves do not shy away from how savage they can be especially when the enemies beg for their lives before they are sliced into ribbons. They are lethal and bloody which matches the kind of character he is. I will commend the combat animations though as they show the brutalities of Wolverine's attacks. To be fair though the combat itself can be fun at times but it can get monotonous pretty quickly. The story line follows the film's with a few additions to pad out the run time. The story line follows 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' is better than most movie licensed games but that is only due to the basis of comparison.
